Pflasterspektakel: the day "magic" arrived in Linz

I'm very proud to describe for you here, a little secret from our LOVELY Linz: it's also magic. And this happens during three days of the year.
The magic appears while you're walking around the city, and you see some people and hear some sound....and you follow it through the small passages and gardens... it pulls you, and attract you, and evolves you in little magic experiences with illuminated people that comes together to show us that the beauty and the meaning is spread all around the space.
It's beautiful....... it's lovely.... it's special.... it's Linz..... :)

I´m still in Linz, still alive...The weather is incredibly warm and since yesterday a festival began in Linz : Pflasterspektakel it´s some street art with some clowns, some acrobats, some musicians...some artist coming from all over the world... http://www.pflasterspektakel.at/eng/index_default.asp



We (me and Lisa) were there yesterday and that was really nice...The only problem is that we went there to have a beer but it ends at 3:00 am...
Then today work was quite strange, i had a lot of measurements to do and to have more fun by the end of the day, i changed the settings of the CCD to have some nicely colored pictures here are the two i prefer:

For the people who want to know how is my room looking like, it´s a mess...I didn´t had time to buy all the things i needed but tomorrow i´ll go o buy a few things and next week i´ll get a table !!! so work in progress, i would say...In exactly two weeks i´ll be back to France for two weeks...yeah !!! More about Sanfermin

Yesterday morning i went to the giant and "bighead" parade with mum and my brother and sister.
THe giants walk arround the strets of the city and dance in several places surrounded by families with their kids while the bigheads hit everyone with a sponge in an attempt to make way for the giants.

Today is the last day of sanfermin. ay 24.00 the fiestaas will be over with the "pobre de mi" (oh poor me!)I will have finished work so i hope i still have the energy to go out on the last night of theese fantastic fiestas.

The giants dancing

The giants dance in different several spots along the itinerary of the parade. It´s quite beautyful!!

The Kilikis

The kilikis are characters with big heads that carry a sponge on a string and chase and hit kids that try and run away from them... terrifiing !!

The Zaldiko Maldiko

Zaliko Maldikos are another character of the parade. They also basicly chase kids (and adults and hit them with a sponge on a string. Very dangerous!! ;)

The Kiliki "Caravinagre" (Vinagerface)

This is the Kiliki Caravinagre. All the kids in my city are scared to death with this Kiliki from the "giant and bighead " parade of the fiestas of sanfermin.

I didn´t get too near for i still have a thrauma since i was 5 years old (hehehehe)
